CANDIDATE STATEMENT

Occupation: Appointed Council member / Cybersecurity Engineer

As a proud dad of two great college kids and 20-year Hayward homeowner, I want a safe and affordable Hayward for all, including my kids and yours.

• Volunteering for the City of Hayward, I’ve advocated for effective, community-responsive policing and public safety.
• In 7 years on the Hayward Planning Commission, I fought for quality development creating more housing, jobs, city revenue, entertainment, and parks like Mia’s Dream Playground and La Vista Park.
• I’ve pushed for all new developments to include affordable units, because everyone deserves safe homes, good schools, nearby grocery stores, transportation, and parks regardless of income.
• As Hayward Education Foundation Treasurer, I’ve helped approve $150,000+ in classroom grants over the past 2 years.
• I'll continue to push for economic growth, new businesses, and safe, efficient travel to and from Hayward.
• And I’ll provide leadership for a greener future, with continued City of Hayward-led environmental and climate change initiatives.
